This page sets out the conditions of use of the construccionesalicante.com website and the legal details of the company behind it, together with the general terms we apply to our quotations and to the building work we carry out for our clients. It is written to be understood: if anything is not clear to you, give us a call and we will explain it.

2. Use of the website
This site is informative: it presents our construction and renovation services, the areas where we work and articles about the trade. It is not a shop: nothing is sold here and no service is contracted online. The only thing you can do here is send us a request for a quotation or for information through the form, by telephone or by email.
By using the site you undertake to do so lawfully and in good faith, not to enter other people’s details into the form, and not to attempt to damage or overload the systems that support it or gain unauthorised access to them. We reserve the right to withdraw access from anyone who misuses the site.
3. Requests for a quotation
Filling in the form or writing to us creates no commitment and no obligation to pay on your part. It is simply a request to be contacted. From that point on:
- We get in touch with you to find out about the job and, where necessary, arrange a site visit.
- The quotation is always given in writing, with the items measured and the specifications set out.
- The quotation is free and without obligation: we charge nothing for preparing it or for the initial visit.
- Quotations are valid for a limited period, stated in the document itself, because material prices can change.
- Work only begins once the quotation has been accepted in writing by both parties.
4. Terms of the work contracted
The specific terms of each job (scope, materials, timescales, payment arrangements and guarantees) are set out in the accepted quotation and, where applicable, in the building contract. As a general rule:
- Fixed price. The agreed amount does not change unless the client requests alterations or hidden problems come to light that could not be seen before work started (for example, pipework in poor condition behind tiling). In both cases we notify you in writing and price the work before carrying it out.
- Timescales. The agreed schedule may be affected by matters outside our organisation: supplier delays, the processing of permits, the weather or decisions still pending from the client. We let you know as soon as it happens.
- Permits. Where the work requires it, we handle the building permit or the responsible declaration. Council fees and taxes are payable by the party commissioning the work, unless otherwise agreed.
- Guarantee. All our work carries the guarantee established by law. In addition, the Ley 38/1999 de Ordenación de la Edificación, the Spanish building act, sets liability periods of one, three and ten years depending on the type of defect, the ten-year period being the one that covers structural elements.
- Documentation. On completion we hand over the paperwork for the installations carried out along with any applicable certificates.
5. Intellectual property
The texts, photographs, designs, logos and other content on this site belong to Grupo Construcciones Alicante or are used with the relevant permission, and are protected by intellectual property law. You are free to read them and to share links, but you may not reproduce, copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written consent.
The photographs of building work shown on the site correspond to real jobs or illustrate the type of service described; under no circumstances should they be taken as a promise of an identical result, since every job depends on its design, its budget and the condition of the property.
6. Liability for content
We take care over the information we publish, including the technical articles on regulations, permits and timescales, but it is offered as general guidance and may fall out of date when legislation or council by-laws change. No content on this website replaces technical or legal advice specific to your case, or a design drawn up by a qualified professional.
We accept no liability for damage arising from improper use of the site or from interruptions to the service caused by technical matters beyond our control. This site may contain links to third-party pages whose content we neither control nor answer for.
7. Data protection and cookies
How we handle the personal data you give us is explained in full in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. There you will find who the data controller is, what we use your data for, how long we keep it, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability.
The site uses its own cookies, which are necessary for it to work, and third-party analytics and advertising cookies, which are only activated with your consent. You can configure or delete them from the privacy options in your browser.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the law, our services or the way the site works change. The version that applies is always the one published on this page, with its update date at the top. Work already contracted is governed by the quotation and the contract signed at the time, not by later versions of this text.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to the use of the website will be heard by the courts designated under the applicable rules, in all cases respecting the jurisdiction that the law grants to consumers and users.
If you are a consumer and wish to make a complaint, you can send it straight to info@construccionesalicante.com and we will deal with it as quickly as we can. The official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) and the consumer affairs bodies of the Generalitat Valenciana, the regional government of the Valencian Community, are also available to you.
If you have any questions about these terms, write to us at info@construccionesalicante.com or call us on 603 016 101.
