This page explains, in as much detail as possible and without unnecessary jargon, what data we collect, what we use it for, how long we keep it, who we share it with and what you can ask of us at any time.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Company: Grupo Construcciones Alicante

Registered address: C/ Aguas de Sax, 15 — 03009 Alicante (Alicante, Spain)

Telephone: +34 603 016 101

Email: info@construccionesalicante.com

Website: construccionesalicante.com

Spanish tax number (NIF/CIF): pending publication

We are the ones who decide why and how the data you give us is used; in other words, we act as the data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), the Spanish data protection act.

2. What data we collect and where it comes from

We only process the data you provide yourself. We do not buy databases and we do not obtain your information from third parties. Specifically:

Quotation form on the website: name, telephone number, email address (optional), the type of work you need, your town or city and any message you care to write. We also record the page you contacted us from and whether you arrived through an advert, so that we know which campaigns are working.

WhatsApp: if you use the WhatsApp button, the message opens in your own app with whatever you have typed. From that point on the conversation takes place on WhatsApp, under the terms and privacy policy of that platform.

Telephone call or email: whatever details you give us during the conversation or in your email.

Browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and where you came from, gathered through cookies and measurement tools. This is handled in aggregate form and tells us how the website is performing and which adverts bring visitors.

Project data: if we do end up working together, the details needed for the contract and invoicing (full name, tax number, address of the property, payment details) and those required by construction technical and safety regulations.

We neither ask for nor need special categories of data (health, political opinions, religion, trade union membership, biometric data). Please do not include any in the message field. Nor do we direct our services at children under 14; if we find a minor’s data without their guardians’ authorisation, we will delete it.

3. What we use your data for and on what legal basis

Every processing activity has a specific purpose and a legal basis behind it:

Answering your enquiry and preparing the quotation. Legal basis: your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (Articles 6.1.a and 6.1.b of the GDPR). Without a name and a telephone number we cannot call you or assess the job, so those two details are essential.

Managing the works you have contracted, invoicing and after-sales service. Legal basis: performance of the contract and compliance with our legal, accounting and tax obligations (Articles 6.1.b and 6.1.c of the GDPR).

Measuring how the website and our advertising perform. Legal basis: your consent when you accept analytics and advertising cookies. You can refuse them or withdraw your consent whenever you like, and the website will carry on working.

Handling your rights and any complaints, as well as defending our interests in the event of a dispute. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation and our legitimate interest.

We do not take automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you, and we do not build profiles from your data. Nor will we send you advertising from other companies or any marketing communications you have not asked for.

4. How long we keep the information

Quotation requests that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months from the last contact, in case you pick the project up again. After that they are deleted.

Clients with contracted works: for as long as the relationship lasts and, once it has ended, for the applicable statutory limitation periods. For commercial and tax purposes that is 6 years (Spanish Commercial Code and General Tax Act), and for liability for construction defects up to 10 years from handover of the works under the Spanish Building Regulation Act (Ley de Ordenación de la Edificación).

Browsing data and cookies: the specific lifespan of each cookie is set out in the cookie notice of your own browser and in the policies of the measurement providers.

Once those periods expire, the data is blocked and securely destroyed.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell or pass your data to third parties so that they can advertise to you. The following types of company do have access to it, as our suppliers and solely in order to provide us with their service:

Web hosting and email provider, where the website and the messages you send us are stored.

Measurement and advertising tools (Google), which process browsing data in aggregate form to show which campaigns are working.

WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us through that channel.

Tax and accounting advisers and, where applicable, banks, for invoicing and collecting payment.

Partners and trades needed for your project, who are given only the information essential to carrying out the work.

Public authorities and the courts, where a rule obliges us to do so (for example, to apply for building permits).

We hold the data processing agreements required by Article 28 of the GDPR with all of them. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, the transfers are covered by European Commission adequacy decisions or by standard contractual clauses.

6. What rights you have

You can exercise the following rights at any time, free of charge:

Access: to know what data of yours we hold and what we do with it.

Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erasure: to ask us to delete it once it is no longer needed.

Objection: to object to a particular processing activity on grounds relating to your particular situation.

Restriction: to ask us to keep the data but not use it while a complaint is being resolved.

Portability: to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or to have us send it to another company.

Withdrawal of the consent you have given us, without affecting the processing carried out before you withdrew it.

To exercise them, write to us at info@construccionesalicante.com or by post to C/ Aguas de Sax, 15 — 03009 Alicante, stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your identity document so that we can identify you. We will reply within a maximum of one month.

If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (the Spanish Data Protection Agency, C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid — www.aepd.es), which is the competent supervisory authority in Spain.

7. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access: an encrypted connection with an SSL certificate across the whole website, restricted access to the administration area of the site through individual usernames and passwords, regular backups and continuous software updates. No system is infallible, but should a security breach occur that affected your rights, we would tell you about it and report it to the supervisory authority within the deadlines set by law.

8. Accuracy of the data and third-party data

The data you give us must be true and up to date; if anything changes, let us know so that we can correct it. If you give us someone else’s details (for example, the telephone number of a relative who owns the property we are going to renovate), you must have informed them beforehand of everything explained in this policy and have their permission.

9. Cookies

This website uses its own cookies, which are necessary for it to work, and third-party analytics and advertising cookies, which are only switched on if you accept them. Necessary cookies do things like remember your preferences or keep your browsing secure; analytics cookies tell us how many people visit each page; advertising cookies let us measure how our adverts perform. You can set your browser to block or delete them at any time from its privacy options.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the regulations, our services or the way we handle data change. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its update date at the top. We recommend that you check it from time to time; if a change were to affect your rights significantly, we would tell you through the contact details you had given us.

If you have any questions at all about how we handle your information, call us on 603 016 101 or write to info@construccionesalicante.com and we will explain it to you straight.

Last updated: 19 August 2026 At Grupo Construcciones Alicante we process the personal data you give us with a single purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare the quotation you have asked for and, if you go on to hire us, manage the building works.
